Description
We love this handy and near-instant towel rail from our friends at Yamazaki Homewares in Japan. Simply attach to your bathroom tiles or glass shower screen for a handy close-to-hand towel rail when stepping out of the bath or shower. Finished in a rust-resistant white lacquered steel, the towel rail has two suctions pads which will work on almost any smooth, non-porous surface which is especially great if you don't want to drill into and crack those precious bathroom tiles.

After reading the reviews, I had hoped the towel rail would work in my bathroom. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the humidity in the current heatwave but it loses suction after a while and goes skew on the glass. Disappointing. Not clear if it can be returned.

Even on glass, humidity (especially during heatwaves) can create a fine layer of condensation that weakens suction. On top of that, many common bathroom cleaners—especially those with silicones, waxes, or shine agents—can leave behind an invisible film that prevents the suction cups from forming a proper seal.
We recommend cleaning both the suction cups and the glass with white vinegar or rubbing alcohol to remove any residue, then drying both thoroughly. (Just be sure your glass surface is suitable for these products — most are, but it’s good to double-check.)
A final tip: press firmly from the center of the suction cup outward when applying, to push out any trapped air.

Rail easy to put up and has stayed put well above bath. Does not seem to be affected by steam. Holds small towel well. Metal rail may corrode over time, but looks well-finished
