Our range of Fisherman's Wicker Baskets (also known as a Creels by anglers) are made from a chunky rattan. This small lidded basket comes complete with lid and distressed dark brown leather hasps to complete that country look. Our Chester STORE customers have found a multitude of uses for this handy storage basket including clearing the clutter of kids toys, storing bulky Sunday newspapers and magazines, or simply stacking two or three in the hallway as a simple shoe storage solution. I ordered a basket with a lid, whilst the size and colour was as expected, the quality of the basket was a little disappointing, there were small pieces of wicker which had snapped off in various places all over the basket. As the basket was going on a shelf beneath a console table, these imperfections were not that visible and the basket was the perfect size.
