These Tree bags are excellent. It doesn't seem fair to just call them that, yes they are to store a Christmas tree but the unique design and superior quality far exceeds any other type of artificial tree storage bag I have ever seen.
They are made of really really strong material and are cylindrical with wire hoops sewn in all around the height/length of the bag, these then pop up whilst you are easing the bag over the tree. There are also very strong handles on the sides and the end/top.
I have 2 news solid 4ft artificial christmas trees which do not come apart. They are a cross between a twig (the branches are sparsely spaced but have needles on them) so you can see the solid brown Central branch meaning there are no hinges you just pull the branches down from the trunk. They have solid 8" diameter sack covered bases to them. I was concerned that continually bending these branches up and down when taking the trees in and out of their original boxes would weaken the branches. So I thought of buying a tree bag but I was also worried that the pines on the ends of each branch would get crushed when touching the side of a box/bag, especially if laid down. So when I saw these tubular bags I hoped I had a brainwave. I hoped if tied cotton thread around each level of branches to pull the branches in so the ends of the branches did not even touch the edge of the bags that the trees would stand upright and be totally protected. I took the risk that this would work
and orders 2 bags and I'm so glad I did because with the addition of a bit of bubble wrap placed around the base of my tree to encourage the tree to stay central in the tubular pop up bags, I now have 2 safely packed away trees which stand perfectly upright in these fabulously strong bags and I know they will come out in perfect condition. I'm so thrilled these bags remain stood upright and I'm amazed by their stability, they won't even topple over when lightly pushed. I realise the solid bases on my trees may be helping with the upright stability but for me they do what I wanted with ease and I couldn't be more thrilled. The fabric and quality exceeded my expectations and I honestly believe these bags will outlive the life of my trees.
These were a considered purchase because I know you can buy much cheaper bags but I know from experience they are mostly made of plastic tarpaulin type fabric which tears and the the zips break. Also they are all oblong/cubes in shape and you can only lay you trees down in them. So for me these bags are fabulous, unique and were worth every penny.
