Co-founders Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan recognised that there was a need to create modern designs that would be accessible in both price and attitude.

Becoming a global name in product design in over 120 countries with offices across the world, Umbra was born out of a passion for original design and the desire to create products that would sit in every home.

Using a team of international designers helps to bring thought and creativity into everyday items.

Umbra are passionate about reducing its carbon footprint and are tackling this by removing unnecessary plastic from its packaging. Umbra has now switched to all cardboard packaging which is fully recyclable.
